About

Migration done right.

We built MigrateData because enterprise workspace migration was overdue for a modern approach — one built on visibility, verification, and zero data retention.

Why MigrateData exists

Migration shouldn't feel like a leap of faith

Existing migration tools were built in a different era. They treat migrations as one-way bulk transfers — no intelligence, no verification, no visibility. When something fails, administrators are left digging through cryptic log files. Re-running a job creates duplicates. Reconciliation is manual. Delta sync is an afterthought.

We started MigrateData to build the platform we wished existed: every item accounted for, real-time control, AI-anticipated problems, and never a single byte of customer data on our infrastructure. Migration done right — from the first scan to the final reconciliation report.

What guides us

Four principles that shape every product decision

Every item matters

Not "close enough." Every email, file, calendar event, and contact accounted for — verified with three modes of reconciliation, from database checks to byte-level comparison.

Show, don't hide

Real-time visibility into every migration. Live WebSocket dashboards, per-item status, granular pause/resume. When something fails — and something always fails — you see it immediately, with guidance on how to fix it.

Never touch your data

Zero-retention streaming, not zero-retention on paper. Customer data flows directly from source to destination. Only metadata (counts, status, timestamps) is ever stored. Full stop.

Deployment your way

Some customers prefer to run migrations on their own infrastructure. Our on-prem agent is available as an alternative to SaaS.
